This ceremonial-grade gyokuro powder is crafted exclusively from tea leaves grown in Yame, Fukuoka, under strict, government-recognized standards. Only the softest new buds are used, hand-picked at peak freshness. Cultivation follows traditional shelf-shaded methods that avoid direct covering of the tea bushes. Plants are left untrimmed and grown in their natural posture, while shading is achieved solely with natural straw and reeds, never chemical fibers.

These uncompromising methods result in tea exceptionally rich in amino acids and theanine, producing profound umami, mellow sweetness, and virtually no bitterness.
